I was walking through the forest to get to school, and kept seeing these signs. Over several days, many obstacles were built. I also saw a group of runners, who I thought were in a circle getting ready to do push ups. But instead, they were passing heavy rocks to each other, around the circle. So I looked up "Tough Viking" to find that it's an obstacle course race, held all over the country.
When Teddy and I lived in Malawi, we always giggled about Carlsberg beer's slogan that its only "Probably the best beer in the world." I guess the Tough Vikings also don't want to be too boastful, as they say that they are only "One of the most awesome obstacle races in the world." I'm pretty sure we Americans could take a lesson from this humbleness.

It was rainy the day of the race, so I only saw a couple of events through a bus window. But they looked like they were enjoying climbing up ropes and carrying heavy logs on their shoulders!
